March 21st Dance Recap

Thanks to all of you who came out to the March Lucky Spring Shag dance!  

A special thank you to those new shaggers who attended our dance for the first time and to friends of the club who continue to support our dances - we appreciate you all joining us!

Teresa Boyd made all the club members name tags, which will help us put together the names with the faces.

There was a terrific turnout of about 57 people with plenty of yummy nibbles. Jim Sterner and Donna Rosen gave a FREE 'Basic' lesson to all those interested from 6:30 to 7:00pm and we appreciate them donating their time and talent to the club!  Thanks to Claire and Bob Cozzi helping Teresa greet people at the door.

Dancing began at 7:00m and Bill Ruth kept everyone shagging with his be-bopping beach music.  During the dance we  discounted SOS cards were sold.  Did you get yours - SOS is next month?  We had one lucky 50-50 winner. 

Treasurer Gary Sellers updated us with club and event information.  Announcements were made regarding the April SOS events, SOS parade (April 25th) and to keep everyone involved in club events and participation (Wiggle Giggle, Golf Tournament, Greeters, etc).  He conveyed the Officer's and Board's thanks to all those that donated their time to raise $2000 dancing at the Brunswick Forest Shelmore Shag event.

The SOS Spring Safari will begin the same weekend as our April dance and we look forward to having our dance floor full of CSC members and guests from other clubs. 

Our March DJ will be Tootie Brown!  Bring your wild side to the April Spring Safari Kick-Off dance.  Can't wait to see you ALL on the dance floor!
